A banner is an Internet advertising tool that consists of text and pictures and is designed to be seen through linked program.

Different banners exist.
* The typical Ad Banner is a rectangular linked picture including text (The size is 468 X 60 pixels, the memory of the file is less than 16 Ko).

* You can also set up a square banner from 60 X 60 pixels to 140 X 140 pixels. Those banners are smaller than the usual banners. They are usually used for exchange or sponsorship programs.

* 56.402 pixels equal 1 inch, 38.09 pixels equal 1cm
1 pixel equals 0.0175 inch, 0.0262 cm
