ARRIVING IN PARIS PROCEDURE
    To provide the best service possible, we follow the flights and will know what time yours lands.  Should you arrive early, we’ll be there.  Should you arrive late, our drivers will wait up to an hour for you to arrive.  Should your flight arrive later than one hour, we will send another driver to escort you into Paris.
    Please call our toll-free line at 0800 CDG ORY (0800 234 679 - free at all pay phones, no phone card or change needed) while you are waiting for your luggage to inform us that you have arrived. Our drivers are instructed to wait for you at the following pick-up spots :

   IMPORTANT : If you book your return through our service, you must allow at least one hour for the trip to the airport. We will send you your pick-up time with our confirmation.

Q. We are staying at friends, in Paris, Can you drive us to their door?
Yes

Q. What happens if my arriving flight is delayed?
We will track your flight on the internet and will be aware if you’re arriving late. No matter if you are 1 hour or 6 hours late, we will have a driver for you at the airport.   Please make sure you call our no-change toll-free number when you arrive.  If your flight arrives late after our normal working hours (8PM), go directly to the pre-arranged meeting spot. We will do our best, but cannot guarantee that a driver will be able to pick you up there.  Pick-ups for arrivals after 8PM may be charged 15% fee.

Q. Do you operate outside Paris?
Yes we do operate outside Paris, in the suburbs

Q. The hotel that I am going to, is not in the database
In that case, for hotel located in any of the 20 arrondissements of Paris (zip-postal codes 75001-75020 only); please choose "Paris City" from the "Paris Home or Office" menu. Then type your hotel's name and full address -- including postal code -- in the form's "Special Notes" section.

Q. I did not receive any response  
Are you sure you left your email address when you applied? You should receive a confirmation within 12 hours of booking. The shuttle company takes up to 48 hours to answer emails.

Q. Are your shuttles non smoking? Air conditioned?
All of our cars are non-smoking and air-conditioned.  They also meet all the safety requirements of the French Ministry of Transportation.

Q. How long it takes the passenger to get through Customs and Immigration?
We estimate 45 minutes for passengers on international flights to clear customs and baggage.

Q. What is your toll-free number? Why do I have to call when I arrive?
Our toll-free number is
0800 CDG ORY (0800 234 679). You must call when you arrive so that we can send you the first driver available.  The number is useful especially if you are held up with luggage problems, just give us a call and we will ask your driver to wait for you a bit longer.

Q. How do I call from the Airport?
You can call from any public phone at the airport (even when you are waiting for your bags), no cards or coins are required, just pick up the receiver and dial 0800 AIR CAR.

Q. How come I get the answering machine when I call after 7pm or before 7 am?
If you get the answering machine, our office is closed. If you arrive before 7am or after 7pm go directly to the pre-arranged pick-up spot indicated on your confirmation and the driver will be waiting for you.

Q. What do I do if someone at the airport proposes to take me into Paris?
You must be aware that drivers operate at the airports without authorizations or proper insurance  and that you may be charged more. Make sure you get in a van with “Airport Connection” signs on the side.  If you leave with a car other than ours from the airport, we may have to charge your credit card.

Q. Where do I find the Airport Connection van when I arrive?
Please go to the “pick-up spots”.

Q. What type of vehicle will be used for transportation?
Most of our vans are Caravelle by Volkswagen. They take up to 8 passengers and their luggage.
Our vans are dark green or dark blue, and have “Airport Connection” marked on the sides.

Q. Should I tip the driver?
It is up to you whether you want to tip the driver or not. If you are happy with the service he gave you, it is customary to tip between 10-15%; however, there is no obligation.

Q. How many stops does the van make?
The van will make a maximum of three stops after your pick-up in Paris. When you arrive at CDG or Orly, the van usually takes less people and stops a maximum of twice before you are dropped off. Our dispatchers do their best to get you to your destination as quick as possible.

Q. What airports do you serve? Do you do train stations?
We serve Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Orly (ORY), and Beauvais (BVA) airports as well as all the Parisian train stations and the TGV train station at Roissy Charles de Gaulle.

Q. How far in advance can I change or cancel my reservation?
Reservations can be changed up to 24 hours before transfer with no charge.

Cancellation conditions :
Cancellation between D and D-1 at 18h00 : no possible refund.
Cancellation between D-1 at 18:00 and D-1 at 12h00 : 50% refund.
Cancellation before D-1 at 12h00 : 100% refund, no cancellation fee.


Q. At which terminal will the driver drop me off?
The driver will drop you off at the terminal from which your flight leaves, please give him this information when you are in the car.

Q. Why must I confirm my departure 24 hours before?
You must confirm your departure at least 24 hours in advance to make sure that all the information concerning flight times, airport and pick-up address are correct.

Q. Do you provide car seats for children under 3?
Airport Connection will provide a child seat on demand, but the client remains fully responsible for the fitting of the seat and the subsequent safety of the child. To meet French regulations, we are obliged to use 2 drivers for any service lasting more than 12 hours. 

Q. What are your office hours? What hours do you operate?
Our office and phone lines are open 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm. Our vans generally operate between 5am and 8pm.  Outside these hours, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
