Transfer from Avignon to your barge and "Welcome Cocktail" followed by your welcome dinner on board

Monday:             Avignon
Cruise and guided visit of the City of the Popes with its monumental palace and famous bridge.

 

Tuesday:           Vallabregues
Cruise to this quiet and charming port of call down on the Rhone, and guided excursion to one of the best Cotes du Rhone cellar with wine tasting and visit of the vineyards.

Wednesday:      Arles
Cruise to the city of Art and History with guided visit. Arles was built in the first century of the Christian era and hosts many roman monuments, most of tem classified as "world heritage sites" by UNESCO.

 

Thursday:          Gallician
Cruise in the true heart of the Camargue, a unique natural site, with visit of a local ranch. This is a section of the cruise where the fauna and the flora remain wild and untouched, from wild horses to flamingos...an unforgettable scenery.

Friday:               Aigues-Mortes
Cruise to this city of the 13th century, fortified by the king Saint Louis who needed a port and base for his holly crusades of 1248 and 1270. Visit of the ramparts, towers and the church raised in 1537 where the knights prayed for a last time before leaving for the crusade. In the afternoon, impossible to miss the tasting of sand wines, famous for their unique flavor, then excursion to the salt fields.

Saturday:          After breakfast, transfer by bus to Avignon or other pre-arranged point
