The
Host is a single person or a couple willing to invite international
visitors at home for a meal. The Host does not receive any payment for
this service.
Meeting the French gives to the
guests all the information necessary to join their Host (name, address,
and telephone number), and also offers a hotline service.
The
Host and the Guests like contact and cultural exchanges. They behave in
a friendly and respectful way. They do not make any kind of
discrimination.
The Host welcomes the Guests at the
front door of his/her home, at the right time. The Host or at least a
person if the Host is a couple, will then be available for the Guests
for a 2-hour-period of time.
The Host uses his/her own china and cutlery and sets the table.
The
menu selected by the Guests is served and shared. Meeting the French
selects professional caterers that prepare and deliver quality meals.
The Host keeps the place clean and in perfect condition.
The Guests have access to the dining, living rooms, and bathrooms.
