Formal is not an overstatement, especially in summer. 

Men should wear a jacket (a navy blazer will do) and dress pants, but no jeans or athletic shoes.

Women should wear cocktail dresses or formal pants.  Out of respect for the Moulin Rouge, please help us adhere to the dress code. 

If you are considering bringing a child over the age of six, please note the dancers may be topless; however, the Moulin Rouge requires that they not be sexually provocative.  All ages are allowed.
